  • Worked on-site to speed communication, improve requirement gathering and promote efficient problem resolution
  • Created and improved 150+ flash animations across 10 learning modules
  • Recorded 30+ minutes of voiceovers to enhance e-module effectiveness for auditory learners

AUSTRAC offers an online e-learning program that provides information about the laws, reporting obligations, and other basic concepts relating to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF). As laws are updated, this e-learning program must be updated as well.

While updating their e-learning program at the end of 2007, factors arose mid-project that left them without their in-house flash developer. With their deadline quickly approaching, we were able to step in and work with them on-site to complete all unfinished work, and to revise and improve work already completed. We were able to meet all required outcomes within the deadline, and received much appreciation for the quality of work completed.

This work involved:

  • Good communication, efficient and proactive project management to provide quick issue resolution and to ensure adherence to strict deadlines
  • Designing and animating over 150 diagrams and illustrations in Flash, remaining consistent with strict government guidelines and approval processes
  • Developing advanced ActionScript to manage module navigation, as well as preloading and dynamic insertion of audio for quick and easy manipulation
  • Recording over 30 minutes of voiceovers by multiple professional voice actors, to meet project requirement of auditory learning aid
  • Working on-site, adhering to strict government security protocols and adapting techniques to conform with limitations of the development environment
